I would like to upgrade my plan, however I want to change my payment details to a different card as I am taking on the contract, I can’t seem to find anyway of finding out how to do so?

First update the Direct Debit details via the My Billing section of the iD app/account.
Once that’s done, you can now upgrade and enter the new details to match.

I keep on getting a screen that says the details were not able to be validated.

Make sure the billing details match the iD account details.
You need to make sure that the address is updated to match on both.
