When i signed up they said my bill would be £38.99 pm however the latest bill received is £42.84 i have looked through my bill breakdown and there are no extra charges so why is it so high ?

It will tell you on the bill. Basically, it will be pro-rata billing.

Sounds like you may have changed your payment date or, if you upgraded, then this is a pro-rata bill due to changing part way in the month.

Your first bill is produced within 24-hours of connection so the bill you’re likely referring to is the second one.
