number cancelled by 3rd August after 30days but still asking me to pay on 12th August

Hi

I had cancelled my ID number and number should be disconnected on the 3/08/24 but ita still on and id mobile request me to pay another monthly bill on the 12.08.24

 

Can you explain why the number is still active if 30days was on the 3rd August?

And why you asking me to pay another bill ?

Hi @Wadziuu 

 

Your monthly bills would continue as normal, if the payment is due on 12/08/24, this likely means the bill was issued on 29/07/24, when the account was still active.

 

If you disconnect during this period, the amount you’ll owe on that bill will reduce.
