cancelled contract

I had a SIM only contract for a month starting on 7 February 2020 and when I activated the sim, the CS agent immediately cancelled it so that it would not be active for longer than the month, I got a photo shot of the end of contract date which was 6 March 2020, I am still receiving bills and have had a letter from a debt collector for £13. Why is this happening and why can I still long into the app and why can I see a bill for April.

can anyone help
