iD Mobile Service Cancellation

Hello, 

My mum had a phone that was using iD but the phone was lost 2 years ago and I contacted them to cancel the iD account so that we wont have to pay for the data anymore but it still hasn’t been done, and i would really appreciate the help on how to remove it.

Hi there @sag

If the account is in your mother's name, then she would need to get in touch directly to have any account of hers disconnected/ cancelled.

The best way currently for her to get in touch with us would be via using the Live Chat option on our website here:

https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/contact-us

Or if the account is registered, you could log in to the iD Mobile App/ Website and look for the option to give notice of a disconnection within there.

 

Only if you had provided proof that you had lasting power of attorney over a named account holder would be able to speak to someone other than the one named on the account.
