My phone and network is fine everywhere else but when I come into my flat it picks up next doors network which is fine in the bedroom but I can use my phone anywhere else. I did use his network for a while but now I have plenty. If I disconnect from him how do I get my network .

If you have signal bars then there should be a network connection. Are you referring to no data connection, or are the calls and texts failing too?
You can try a manual network selection from within your phone settings to see if this helps. You can see how on the link below
