Hi I have just switched from vodaphone and the coverage looks to be poor in KT2 ! Please advise if this is the normal - I had full bars with vodaphone but now in same location I am getting 2-3 with ID mobile ?

Vodafone and iD Mobile use different mobile network infrastructure, which operates using different radio frequencies for their respective mobile services.
At any given location Vodafone may have a better signal than iD Mobile, and visa versa.
To see actual coverage, try the https://mastdata.com site online.
The mobile service providers only provide theoretical coverage online, for any given postcode.

As confirmed above, each network uses a different set of masts for coverage.
Whilst Three and Vodafone are working on a deal to merge, this will be some time before we know fully how this impacts services.
iD Mobile uses Three UK’s masts for coverage.
What’s the full postcode of the area you’re at?
