Australia

Hi

I'm going to Australia next week for 5 weeks, so would like to use my phone there.

I've a Pixel 7, which can use an esim as second SIM. Is this possible, or are both Sims locked to ID.

I've seen in old posts that roaming costed 30p/mb, so won't be doing that!

Cheers

Don’t know about Pixel handsets, but for my recent visit to Australia used a non-iD Mobile data only eSIM in conjunction with my primary SIM card.

This worked nicely for my iPhone, and meant I avoided paying for expensive roaming mobile data.

Hi

Thanks so much for this.

Right in thinking that your iPhone was locked to ID Mobile in UK?

My iPhone isn’t network locked @gravelpit - it works on any network.

UK mobile networks can’t sell locked handsets anymore - OFCOM rules stopped them doing this in Dec 2021.

Why iD Mobile?
