Desperately trying to get in touch for a new sim but NOTHING. chat doesn't load up! HELP

Send them a private message on facebook (using Messenger), or send them a DM (direct message) on Twitter.

The agents work 9am - 8pm on weekdays (and 9am - 6pm at weekends) - good luck @Stephen Sanders.
