Do you receive a SIM card when you purchase a new contract?

Do you receive a sim when you have just joined id and just set up a contract for a phone monthly or do I need to order the sim?

When you sign-up for a new pay monthly phone contract you should get a SIM card with your new phone @Amber whiting.
