I am going on holiday for a month to France and Spain and have an unlimited minutes, texts and data sim card that I took out in May 2023. Am I allowed to use the unlimited data for streaming like i do at home while I'm away?

Sorry to disappoint you but max data (on roaming} in a billing month is 30GB...

This from the help pages.:

What is Roaming?

All iD Mobile plans come with Roaming as standard.

This feature lets you roam free in 50 destinations throughout the EU, EEA and beyond. Use your minutes, texts and data, up to 30GB, while roaming abroad (subject to your allowance, our fair usage & open data policies).

Hi Robin. As I understand that is the policy for accounts taken out or upgraded after the 21st of June 2023. For the 20th or before it is different and more generous. I was looking for confirmation of someone's experience of the difference.

Sorry. I am a new member since July 23 and was not aware of that distinction.

Cheers

Hi @SlipperyBob

If you’ve purchased before/on 20/06/23, please see the following link;

https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/eu-roaming/fair-usage-policy#before-june-2023

“Our open data fair usage policy no longer applies, meaning customers who joined iD or upgraded on or before 20th June 2023 can use their full data allowance in our 50 free Roaming destinations without incurring a surcharge.”

Thanks Tom. That also confirms what customer relations told me on a chat.
