Hello, 

I have recently switched my old phone number onto the ID mobile sim. I got a text message saying it’s all gone through and I would need to turn my phone on and off, which I have done. However, for some reasons I can’t send text messages but I can call. I’m wondering if you could help me with this please.

Hey @Geekimbo, sorry you’ve got text issues after porting to iD.

Forum members can’t see your iD account, and unfortunately this forum isn’t for real time live chat with iD support. Normally the iD staff read user posts here once a day, sometimes less frequently. 

To get assistance sooner, I’d suggest using the iD online live chat service, or privately message iD on their social media pages with Facebook Messenger, or X (Twitter) DM. 

The agents work until 8pm on weekdays.

Well @Geekimbo, unfortunately iD Mobile only provide online channels for help & support. 
iD don’t have a telephone support helpline.

To get assistance with any number transfer issues I’d recommend the online iD live chat, or contact iD via their social media pages.

Alternatively, hang on here until someone from iD gets around to reading your OP.

What appears to be the issue with texts? Do you get an error?

 

How is mobile data?
