Try:

  1. Turn your phone OFF for at least 30 minutes.
  2. If (1) doesnā€™t work, try a Network Reset.

New Android handset or iPhone @ANDREW HAYLOCK?Ā

It is a new iPhone with email addressĀ

Okay @ANDREW HAYLOCK, donā€™t post personal information in this forum.

Anyone with Internet access can read posts in this forum, and there are scammers out there looking for email addresses, mobile numbers, et cetera.

I recommend you edit your post and remove the email address.

Anyway, when you sign-in atĀ https://appleid.apple.comĀ with your Apple ID - and look at your Devices, do you see the correct mobile number against your iPhone device?

Thanks for the heads up on that!Ā Ā

I have just checked and the correct mobile number is showing on the new device and I have cancelled my old phone from there as well.Ā

Hi @ANDREW HAYLOCKĀ

Ā

Please could you try the following?

Ā

1) Turn off iMessage (Settings > Messages)
2) Restart your phone (by pressing and holding the on/off button)
3) Tap Settings > Phone > My Number and confirm that it is correct.Ā
4) If it is not correct, please enter the correct number
5) Turn iMessage back to On (Settings > Messages)
6) Finally, go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and see if the correct number is displayed under "Start new conversations from:"

If you are having issues with the above please retry with flight mode enabled and/or the SIM card removed.

Ā

Tom
