Hi I’m going to New York in March is there any type of bolt on I can buy to use my phone there for data and calls?

There isn’t an add-on or bolt on available to purchase from iD Mobile, for roaming use in the USA.

The iD roaming charges for the USA are:

There’s a possible solution @Gail Wallace - although it depends on having a dual-SIM handset, with one of them being an eSIM.

What handset would you be taking to the USA in March ‘23?

I’ve got an iPhone 13 too. For a recent trip to Australia, I bought a data only eSIM (from Soracom Mobile), to use for cheap roaming mobile data.

I turned off the mobile data for my iD SIM while roaming in Australia. Text messages are free to receive while roaming. iMessage uses Wi-Fi or mobile data whenever possible, and I used WhatsApp for calling.

Didn’t spend a fortune on calls and texts.
