Number won’t verify after porting from EE

Having ported my old number from EE last week on my iPhone 14 I still can’t receive calls or texts. Have tried all the tricks in the community tab and online to no avail. The number is just stuck on verifying.
 

I spoke to iD and got a new sim sent through but even now it still doesn’t work! Any ideas please? Need to use this phone for work.

With iMessage turned OFF are you able to receive calls and texts still?

You could try the following drastic course of action:

  1. Login to iCloud online (don’t logout).
  2. Sign-out of iCloud on your iPhone.
  3. Turn-off your iPhone.
  4. Go back to iCloud online and delete your iPhone 14 device from your iCloud account (don’t logout from iCloud online).
  5. Turn-on your iPhone, and Sign-in back in to iCloud.
