sim not available error

I’ve just returned from overseas and reinserted my bid mobile sim. It is no longer working and I am getting the  error message sim not available. I have turned my phone on/off a number of times and put it into flight mode.

 

please can someone advise a fix for this or whether I need a replacement sim

How long were you overseas @Ncole909090?

If you had a PAYG SIM from iD it might have been disconnected depending on how long you were overseas.

I was only overseas for two weeks and I can still access my account. Everything looks ok except I can’t access the Id network!

Have you tried a NETWORK RESET on your mobile phone @Ncole909090

I’ve just tried that but no change. I’m still unable to access the Id mobile network

If your SIM doesn’t work in another phone, then you’ll probably need a replacement SIM card.

You can request one using the iD live chat, or pick one up at any Currys store.

It’s possible the SIM card was damaged during that time.

If you pop into your local Currys, you can get a free replacement SIM and activate this via https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/your-sim-card
