SIM not working on Pixel 7 after esim use

I have installed an eSIM on to my Pixel 7 but it seems to have disable my iD Mobile SIM from the settings. The iD mobile SIM is not being detected by the device, with no option to reactivate it or turn it back on. I have turned the device on and off, done a reset of the mobile settings with and without the SIM inserted and still not working.

When I use the iD mobile SIM on a different device it works fine on the other device and surprisingly when I use another SIM on the pixel 7, the other SIM works perfectly fine on the pixel 7 with or without the eSIM activated.

Can you please assist. Thank you.

Welcome to the Community!

We can look at sending a new SIM out or you can collect one from your local Curry’s store which is the quicker method.

Please let us know if you would like one sending out or help activating it.

Hopefully the new SIM should fix the issue.

Apparently the Google Pixel 7 handset isn’t approved by iD for use of their mobile network @theb

One wonders why they’re selling the Google Pixel if they’ve not approved the device for their network.
