Stolen phone queries

Good Morning.
I've had my phone stolen last night.
I've blocked the phone and sim.
What happens in regard to my bill?
Can I do something where I'd only pay up till last night?
Also if I purchase a new phone from id, can I use that number that's blocked and carry it over to the newm phone?

Hey Rick, sorry to hear about this, it’s never nice when these things happen. Your bill will continue as normal, unfortunately, as we’re still providing the network services.

If you speak to our Facebook, Twitter or Live Chat teams, they’ll be able to send a new SIM out for you and activate it with your number. You’ll be able to use this in any phone as long as it’s unlocked and listed on our approved devices page..

If you were to buy a phone from us, I’d recommend buying a SIM-free handset, otherwise you’ll have two contracts running concurrently.
