Voicemail not set up fully


Hi when I call the voicemail on my phone and enter my phone number and then the hash key it says your mailbox has not been setup fully. I have tried switching voicemail off and on the iD Mobile app but the problem still persists. Could you help me?

Try turning off voicemail via your online account and leave it off for 24 hours before turning it back on.

Are you in the UK currently or abroad?

Are you able to stay on the line and follow any steps to set this up?

What number are you ringing for voicemail?

Have you tried dialling 123?

I am currently abroad. I have been dialling 123, if I stay on the line it says to call your voicemail to setup your mailbox but I am calling the voicemail so I don’t know what to do.

Is me being abroad the cause of this problem?

I don’t think you can setup iD Mobile voicemail when you’re abroad - it needs to be setup when you’re in the UK @Federico Sirolla.

This will be the issue, you need to setup when you’re in the UK.

As you need to set a PIN I believe for when dialling abroad.

Hi. I have the same situation and am a new customer. I’m in and out of the UK constantly and find this really unhelpful. I’ve got important calls and need to be able to access my voicemail asap BEFORE returning to the UK this weekend. What can be done in this case?

@WelshPaul isn’t an iD Mobile employee.

As @CMcG1882 as @Mohammed advised you need to setup when you’re in the UK.

As you need to set a PIN I believe for when dialling abroad.
