Why has my number not ported correctly?

I used a PAC to port my old number. It says it has worked and my old phone now has no SIM and this one does, but the number hasn't changed. I can't get onto my WhatsApp from my old number and I don't want to have a different number. What has happened?

What date was the port set for?

We would advise allowing until 10pm for the port to complete on the port date.

In most cases it’s as simple as resetting your network settings and that should refresh everything.
