Brand new number when joining?

Hi there, I was wondering, if I take out a new contract with ID Mobile, will the number I receive be completely brand new, or will it be a recycled number that may have been used by someone in the past?

Hello @charles12321,

 

We can’t give a definitive answer to that one as the numbers can either be recycled numbers or pulled from a brand new, unused number. Mostly they’ll be unused ones, but in some rare cases, it could be a recycled one.

I believe this is the same with other networks also.
