New customer text failed after number transfer

Hi just joined Id mobile. I transferred my number and had confirmation yesterday the transfer was complete. I can receive calls to my old number. If I text it fails. Imessage works but comes from the old I’d mobile phone number. Can someone help…..

Hi there @Lynn935 

This has been known to happen from time to time with iPhones.

 

Could you go to Settings > Profile > Name, Phone Numbers, Emails…
Then manually edit your number to be the number you’ve kept?

 

If that’s not working.  Please turn the phone off.

Remove the SIM.  Turn the phone back on (without a SIM).

Leave the phone for 5 minutes.  Then turn it off.

Re-insert the SIM.  Turn the phone back on.

Check if the number has refreshed now within your iPhone.
