I recently bought a new SIM only deal for my phone with id after my previous contract with vodafone ended, however when i put in my new SIM it says the SIM is not supported and that it must be unlocked by the network provider.
How do I fix this??

Hey there @dylan. ,

Welcome to they iD Community.

This message is usually displayed when the handset you're using the SIM in is locked to your old network.
If you contact your previous network provider (Vodafone) they can assist with getting this unlocked for you.

Once unlocked, the iD SIM should work like usual.

The SIM should already be active so this isn't a case of it not yet being so.
