switching to ID. new sim?

hi all,

sorry for the dumb question lol.

 

i intend to sswitch to ID but in the procedure explained on the website it doesn’t say to buy a new sim first then move.

how do i apply/receive the new sim card? also can it be sent abroad?

 

i already have the PAC

Hi @emanuelaema,

Thank you for getting in touch. To move your number over to us from another UK network provider, you first need to order a SIM card/contract from us. Once it arrives, you can then give us your PAC code from the old network. Your number will then port over within 2 working days.

We cannot send a SIM card abroad; it has to be sent to a UK address.

thanks! super, if i get the new sim can this be used for the first time abroad? unfortunately because of c-19 i can’t travel to the uk as of today so will have to make this transfer from aboad and have the new sim sent over to me by friends. if that is possible i will order the sim card.

I’m afraid you would need to be within the UK to be able to port your number over to the new iD Mobile SIM card.
