Foreign Calling

We’ve been in Canada for 6 weeks and have not been able to make any calls at all in that time. We’re off to New Zealand on the weekend from here, will this be the same there?

Is there a reason for this?

Not used any data since being here and only sent one text. We’ve had WiFi nearly the whole time but it’d be nice to know we could phone out if we needed to in an emergency or such like.

All the options for international calling and roaming are switched on in my iDmobile app
