Hi,

I currently have unlimited data on my contract as part of the NHS offer (Thank you!). I am due to go to Europe next month and was wondering if the unlimited data is applicable, or would my data cap be as per my contracted data allowance?

Thank you.

Hello @KimC,

That’s a good question!

We do have a Fair Usage Policy in place here: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/eu-roaming/fair-usage-policy

So I’d expect that this will apply based on your plan you’re currently signed up to.

Just chatted with Customer Service about this, and it seems that it will not apply abroad, even in the EU.

I have just confirmed for you, the NHS package is limited to the UK only.

A bit of a bummer, but I’m in a similar situation - going abroad at the end of July, and I just bought the £20 unlt’d deal instead (not on iD before now)

Hello @J4ckf311,

According to our Fair Usage Policy: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/eu-roaming/fair-usage-policy

This should not apply to you as the £20.00 unlimited plan does not fall under the Open Data Policy.

But if you mean you’re on the NHS plan, then I would expect you can use your normal data allowance within the Fair Usage Policy as normal.
