Frustrated and annoyed! - invalid pac code

If it is the law to give a customer the PAC code as soon as possible to a customer when they request it, why are a lot of people complaining about it? ID have sent me an invalid PAC code, that even says it expired on the 18th of Feb 2021! Is it the old one?
I’ve only had a sim card for 7 weeks(?) and I’m that impressed that I want to leave, thank god it wasn’t a phone contract! 
PLEASE SEND ME A VALID PAC CODE!  I don’t want to pay for 2 contracts! Perhaps Trading Standards need to be involved?
HELP ME, PLEASE!

All sorted now, but I think ID need to sort out the PAC code problem and/or have a customer service department, at least proper “live chat” (I’m convinced it was disabled). Then you wouldn’t have myself and others on here, whining and your working life would be much happier.
