i need help ASAP i have mistakenly activated my own sim into another account

HI I need help! 

basically I have mistakenly activated a sim that I got in the post as a upgrade plan onto another ID account and now the person that I have activated the sim on has got no service on their phone! What do I do! I really do need help because I genuinely don’t know what to do. 
 

is there a way to cancel the activated sim on their account and activate it back onto my own account?!

Hello @Luca,

A SIM card sent from an upgrade is blank and inactive. The only way it’s tied to your account is actually just the reference of the SIM being dispatched to you.

If it’s activated onto a different account, then their services move over to that SIM.

 

Yours should still be on the old SIM. 

If you know this person or they’re a friend or family, I recommend just giving them that SIM as, based on what you’ve described, their services are on that SIM.

You can then just carry on using the old SIM.

 

If I’ve misunderstood the issue, please let me know. Though we’re not sure how you activated that SIM onto another persons account because you need their log-in details to do this?
