No service after a plan change

Hi. I changed the ID plan on my daughters phone and ID sent out a new sim card. I assumed we had to use it so I put it in the phone and followed the instructions but after 24hrs she still couldn't make or receuve calls. I then read on here that you don't HAVE to use the new sim so I've put her old one back in and it's made no difference. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks

Hi @Lisamileham,

We’re sorry to hear about that! A plan change should not usually result in the services being blocked, nor would a new SIM card be issued. Did the new SIM card seem to come with a new number at all? Also, do either of the SIM cards work in another phone?

Thank you for replying. As I received the new sim, I assumed we had to use it so i 'registered' it. Turns out it wasn't necessary.

Adviser at our local phone store suggested turning the phone off and on.  It worked, lol 😆
