upgrade - SIM question

I have received my new phone and sim card on an upgrade. Do I need to insert the new sim or do I use the old sim to keep my existing number as it's only an upgrade

Hi there @Alanhowe1969 

If you log in to your iD Mobile account.  Is your new tariff showing there fine?  If so, then you could basically just use your old SIM and keep that replacement one as a spare just in case you ever lose it and need to switch things over to it.

The iD Mobile App may give you an option to activate that new SIM if you’d like to.  In which case you can then just bin the old SIM once things are activated on your new SIM.
