Hi I am travelling to New Zealand in 2024 for 6 weeks. As I am going to be driving from place to place. I wondered if I can use my ID Mobile data on Android auto as my Sat Nav whilst in New Zealand as I do now in the UK which uses very little data. Or am I actually better getting a local sim with a decent data allowance once in New Zealand. I've already tried the online chat but the info received didn’t answer the question. Appreciate any help on this.🙂

Given you said you already know how much data your Android is using for UK GPS satnav, you should be able to answer your question @Thewigancasino.

After you do the sums, it could be cheaper to use a local SIM - good luck @Thewigancasino.
