How to prevent out of plan data charges

Just got back from two weeks holiday in Europe - really appreciated ID continuing to provide in-plan roaming post-Brexit.

So very puzzled and now really annoyed to see a £24.93 out of plan data charge on my bill. It looks like it happened on the cross-channel ferry returning to the UK. 2MB of data cost £24.93 !!??

I’ve looked for a switch on my account to turn off out of plan charges - but can’t find one.

How do I stop out of plan data charges - but keep European roaming (including data) turned on?

Just set the bill cap on your iD My Account to £0 - that stops any out-of-plan charges, but not inclusive roaming usage.
