Move abroad & still receive calls & texts

I am moving to Spain & will get a Spanish SIM but I would like to keep my eSIM with UK number. After the fair use policy term of 3-4 months roaming abroad will I still be able to receive UK calls & texts at no charge? I’ll obviously switch to the lowest cost monthly plan & wont be using any data or sending texts/calls but want to ensure I can still receive calls for maybe a year until everyone knows my new Spanish number

Hey @Robyn Young,

If you can still prove you have strong ties to the UK, such as a UK Bill or Bank Statement, you may avoid the charges of permanent roaming. This is outlined here:
