I remember reading that ID Mobile were offering unlimited data roaming during the olympics in France. I can’t find the article now, but does this mean up to your UK allowance if you don’t have unlimited data in the UK?

How does this work if we’re in France for longer than the offer is on for?
For example, we are in France from now until 26th August. does the FUP / EU limit apply only for data used after the promotion finishes? or will the FUP / data limit take into account what has been used during the promotion period too?
I am in France at the moment and my allowance is not reducing. I assume when the period ends it would start reducing. I think we all have unlimited data until the period ends.
