I will be in Morocco for ten days later this month. Can I use an e-Sim on my iPhone when in Morocco - does ID Mobile permit this?

I don’t think iD will prevent you from using an eSIM in your iPhone @Argus.

Currently iD Mobile don’t support eSIM technology on their network, so I’m guessing you’ll be using an eSIM from another mobile operator.

Hey @Argus,

As @andewhite advised, we don’t support eSims and Roaming is not inclusive in Morocco so any usage would be chargeable at the roaming rates: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/international-and-roaming-charges

Thanks, Mohammed. Could you please clarify one point - when you say that ID Mobile does not support eSims, does that prevent me from using another company’s eSims with my iPhone? Or if I wanted to use a local Moroccan Sim, would that be possible?

You can still use a different eSIM or a local SIM, however eSIM isn’t something that we offer at the moment.
