Upgrading Motorola handset

Hi @IvanIdea,   You can certainly look at doing that if you wish to continue with your SIM-only contract.    All handset from Carphone Warehouse are unlocked so you should be good to insert the SIM and continue to use iD services.   Let us know if you require further assistance.   Kash

No Service with Son's Phone

Hi @Mantis,   Could you please try turning the handset off then removing and reinserting the SIM. Once you have done that please power on the handset again.   If this doesn’t work please try resetting the network settings on the handset. If both of the above don’t seem to work you can manually select your network through your network settings in your handset settings.   Have you tried another SIM in the Samsung A50 as it may be a faulty SIM slot if other SIM cards are also not working within the phone?   Kash

Unable to connect to the iD App

Hi @Neul.tatlock,   We are sorry to hear that you are unable to connect to the app.   I would advise ensuring that you have the latest version of the app installed on the handset. If this doesn’t work could you please try deleting the app and reinstalling it.  Could you also try connecting to the app via your mobile network rather than Wifi? If you have a second number with iD you would need to register this under a different email address/username via our website.    Please let us know how you get on and we can advise you further.   Kash

However depending on the handset that you have, you can add the number to your block list. Hi @Helpmeplease,   We are sorry to hear about the issues with your coverage.    What was the coverage like before you experienced the issues? Does the coverage change when you are outside of your home?   Could you please ensure that your handset has the latest software installed and all is up to date. It may be worth checking if the coverage changes when you insert the SIM in a different handset as the SIM may have become faulty.   Kash

SIM Locked - PUK Required

Hi @Sidkporha04,   Does this issue only occur with the iD Mobile SIM? You may need to manually select the network from the network settings on your device. You should be able to select the iD Mobile network from there.   It may also be worth checking that the software is all up to date on your device. If the SIM still doesn’t work could you please insert the iD SIM into another handset and see if it works as this will allow us to know if the issue is with the SIM or the handset. Kash

Alternatively, you can use our automated telephone service to help you manage your account: Call 7777 from your iD phone, or 0333 003 7777 from a landline or other mobile. (Charges may vary) . Termination fee charged after I cancelled agreement

Hi @Kurt27 ,   The payment that was made is for your monthly contractual amount. The final bill is processed 24 hours after the line is disconnected and is due for payment within 14 days from then.   If you cancel your contract before the minimum term it is likely that you would incur a termination fee which would also reflect on the final bill. If you would like to make a payment you can call 7777 from your iD phone or 0333 003 7777 from a landline or other mobile. (Charges may vary) . Please select option 2 (hear your balance, make a payment).   If you are unable to log into your account due to the password being incorrect you can request a new one HERE.   Please let us know if you still have any issues and we can help you out.   Regards, Kash

Data roaming outside of EU

Whilst in Dubai it may be best to connect to the Du network, whereas in Thailand it may be best to connect to True Move, DTAC or AWN. Dubai may show as United Arab Emirates on the list of countries but let us know if you require any assistance with this. Hi [user=13977]Patmod84[/user], We can certainly help you out to try and get this resolved. Does the handset detect the SIM card in the handset? Do you receive an error message? If the SIM is not being detected it may be that the SIM isn't inserted correctly. If this is the case please could you try the steps below; [list=1] [*]Turn your phone off. [*]Position your phone facing up. [*]Insert the eject tool that comes with your phone into the small hole on the card tray. Doing so will pop out the tray. [*]Carefully remove the SIM card from the slot. [*]Check and ensure that the SIM card has no visible signs of damage. [*]Then insert the SIM card with the gold contacts facing down. [*]Insert the tray with the tray words facing up. [*]Be sure to secure and lock the tray in place. [/list] Turn the handset on again and check if the SIM error is no longer there. If it is a different issue that you are experiecing please let us know and we will do our best to get this resolved. Kash
