Roaming Problems in Mallorca

Hi, Im having issues roaming. I followed the guide to roaming so Data roaming is enabled on app and handset. I have full reception on Movistar 3G and an R next to it so I know it should work. But I cannot get on the net or send texts or use apps like gmaps. Anyone had this experience before? If I had no reception I would understand but there is full connection. WiFi all works fine so it's not a handset issue. I've turned handset on and off several times, same for settings. My wife has the same problem, shes also on ID! Any ideas anyone? Thanks.
