I upgraded my sim. A new sim is coming in the post but I understand that I can use my current sim. I have been locked out and cannot access the network. my ID account sent a message this morning to say it was all activated and ready to go but I have no network available on my phone. Feeling very frustrated as it is now 24 hours ...
Upgraded my SIM over 24 hours ago. Since upgrading my app on my phone tells me everything should be up and running but it is NOT. I have no access to the network, unable to make calls etc. I am very frustrated as I can´t find the solution online and no one has answered my query. I am essentially without a phone. Tried restarting numerous times etc. NOTHING,

It sounds like you have activated the new blank SIM that’s sent with the upgrade.
The old SIM cannot be re-activated.
You can either wait till the SIM arrives and services will be working on this new SIM or pick up a replacement via Currys for free and activate it.
