View originalYou haven’t upgraded, you have purchased a second line/account/contract. If you don’t want to keep your old number, simply contact iD Mobile live chat and tell them that you want to close your old account. You can speak to a live chat agent here. If you want to keep your old number, then you will need to return the new phone under the cooling off period and upgrade your existing line.

Hey
If both SIM card are active with their own numbers, then you will have purchased a new contract.
If the iD account when you log in shows the new plan, then you have successfully upgraded and the payment taken may be because the bill had already been produced for the month. In this case, you will get a pro-rata bill next month.
