Porting problem

Hello, I recently joined iD mobile from ee and requested to port my number, which has been done but I'm seeing an issue where when I call people, it is from my 'old' ported number but when I text them, it comes from the 'new' iD mibile number. 

Any help with this would be appreciated.

Hello there @CByard 

Are you using an iPhone by chance?  If so, the number might not have updated internally on the phone to be that of what is in use by the SIM.

Two ways to usually help nudge your phone into refreshing are as follows:

Turn off the phone > Take out your SIM
Turn the phone back on (no SIM) > Leave on for a few minutes or so.
Turn off the phone >  Pop the iD Mobile SIM back in the phone 
Turn back on.

1)    Turn off iMessage (Settings > Messages)
2)    Restart your phone (by pressing and holding the on/off button)
3)    Tap Settings > Phone > My Number and confirm that it is correct. 
4)    If it is not correct, please enter the correct number
5)    Turn iMessage back to On (Settings > Messages)
6)    Finally, go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and see if the correct number is displayed under “Start new conversations from:”.

Thank you for your reply. No, not an iPhone, it's a Pixel 3.

I've tried taking out the SIM & switching off the phone but this hasn't fixed the issue.
