I have an iPhone 12 through a contract. The earpiece stopped working meaning I couldn’t receive calls unless on speakerphone or using headphones.

 

I have had it checked in the Apple Store but said I needed to contact the provider to see if it could be fixed?

Wow - seems steep considering you can buy a ‘like new’ iPhone 12 (with 64GB) from giffgaff for £339, which comes with a 24-month warranty covering: 

  • Faulty software
  • Internal parts gone haywire
  • Battery issues

As @andewhite has kindly mentioned, you can indeed take your device to any Currys store to have them take a look at it, as all our devices comes with a 1-2 year warranty (device depending). Our Currys store staff will be able to take a look at the device, and if they deem it to be faulty and fixable, they should be able to offer a free repair for you :)
