I Swapped from EE yesterday around 4 pm  New phone is now working with ID Mobile but its still using temporary number that I was given?

Have you tried a NETWORK RESET, @Gary Taylor?

Your handset user guide usually explains how to perform this procedure.

Have you tried the above suggested network settings reset from @andewhite?

 

For iPhone;

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset eDevice] > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

 

For Android;

Settings > System > Reset options > Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth

 

Resetting network settings will NOT reset any personal data (Photos, Videos, Contacts etc) only network settings.
