My phone number has switched over to my number but on certain people's phone my number hasn't come up as.mine but comes up as the temporary number i was given. But most people it comes up as my own number. Anyone know how I can change this? 

The procedure for fixing this depends on whether you’ve got an Android devices, or iPhone handset, @Jane Louise Beighton.

Somethings performing a NETWORK RESET fixes this issue. The procedure for doing this is usually in the handset user guide.

I’d recommend the same as @andewhite and doing the following;

 

For iPhone;

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset RDevice] > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

 

For Android;

Settings > System > Reset options > Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth

 

Resetting network settings will NOT reset any personal data (Photos, Videos, Contacts etc) only network settings.
