I am receiving a ridiculous number of calls and messages from people saying that I have just called them from all around the UK, I don't know what to do, recently transferred to ID mobile, so not sure if my details are being used, it is really frustrating as I am trying to run a business and in between calls I receive calls asking why I called them and I haven't.

How do I stop this?

Hi l, i signed up for TPS to not received spam calls, i know this doesnt eliminate the problem but i have also blocked the numbers and reported them is there any way that ID moblie can stop spam calls even coming through that are uk companies only as i understand its not possible with companies abroad as i have received over 150+ phonecalls from one company in particular from yell.com it has been reported 3 times to tps and now tp the ico but they still continue to ring me monday to friday multiple times a day and its becoming harrasment.


Hi there @CharlieS, thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, there is no way for iD to stop anyone from calling/texting you I’m afraid.

 

We can only advise to block any numbers that are a nuisance or to ignore them. The only other solution would be to change your phone number with us, which costs £25.00 unless you get an action fraud reference from action fraud if that’s applicable to your situation.
