Coca cola is excellent for cleaning, in fact that's what it was originally made to do!

Best way to clean up your phone… get a second one and put all your work/business stuff on that. Then at the weekends and in the evenings turn that phone off and help clean up your head too.

Thanks for phone cleaning inside and out tips! My spring cleaning top tip, and money saver, is to drop a couple of steredent tablets (false teeth cleaning  tablets) down your loo overnight and one flush in morning and the stains and limescale will be gone!! As a disabled lady I find hoovering exhausting so need the robot in my life!

Little and often means you dont need a big spring clean

Beside spring clean garden and garage. I also properly clean my car every spring.

The best hting I ever did was to leave put a stash of cleaning materials upstaiirs in the bathroom cupboard - it’s all there when I need it, whenever the cleaning urge takes me. So I don’t use the excuse of ‘it’s all downstairs so I can’t clean right now’. Works for me and means Spring Cleaning isn’t such a chore as I’ve managed to keep on top of it all year round.

Time to get out those flexible drain brushes and clean out my bathroom and kitchen plug-holes.

Top tip, baby oil and a micro fibre cloth to clean all the stainless steel surfaces, extractor fan included!

My top tip is to spray the radiators with fabric conditioner to send a lovely smell all around the house

I always ensure the software is up-to-date on our iPhones by visiting; settings>general>software update

I need this, my legs are getting to short.

My top tip is to start by clearing all floor areas i.e. under tables under EVERYTHING but then clean the floors after you’ve done everything else.

(Or hire a cleaning company :-))

My tip is to keep on top of the cleaning then no need to spring clean as everything is sparkly clean already

I love using half white vinegar with half water and a few drops of t tree oil for the best natural antiseptic surface cleaner. Put it in a spray bottle, spray surfaces and wipe clean. Saves the environment, your health and your bank balance! It's a win win!

why does it keep posting my entry to the competition on here and not on the competition page?

To be honest, I hate spring cleaning, ok, I know we need to clear out the winter build up due bto trying to keep the house warm through winter but being 76 and my disabled wife’s carer I just do not have the time r the energy to do it, What I do need is for someone to come and do it for me! Oh, dream on.

Top tip: do not get stressed about it!!

To be honest, I hate Spring Cleaning, OK. it is important to get rid of all the winter dust and being shut up to keep the house warm, and being my disabled wife’s carer, I just do not have the time and being 76, I do not have the energy. I just wish someone would come and do it for me!

If you haven't used something for over a year, chuck it out! You don't need it!

Keep your surfaces , window sills, kitchen worktops, dressing table etc as clear as possible. Keep ornaments to a minimum this makes it much easier to dust and polish them than if you have to keep moving things around

My spring cleaning routine will be, uncover my motorcycle, dust it off, wax it, fit battery, check it over, then ride it!! :)

Have cleared the shed and greenhouse, next is the loft and then my phone, although I generally keep on top of it.
