Increasingly common are scam calls from 0845 numbers costing you money, sometimes quite a lot. Like many other people I don’t answer them and then block the number on my phone. However I believe the scam plays just as much on the common issue of ‘pocket calls’ where you accidentally call a number due to the sensitivity of phone screens. There is potential for these calls out to be for long periods as by nature you are very likely not to know you have made the call.
This has now happened to me twice. Does anyone have a fix to prevent your phone calling out to 0845 numbers?
I now have a work around which is to block the number and also delete it from my call list but I’m hoping there is a better way.
