2nd mobile contract

Hi - 

I took out a contract for my daughter just over 2 months ago and now when I tried to get myself a new contract for a new phone and I’m being turned down.  I looked and my credit score is excellent so don’t know the reason for not being able to do this.  Curry’s said I would need to wait until 2 months passed, but it’s over 2 months now and have the same issue.

Perhaps the credit score is just one element in the process iD Mobile use to determine the contractual risk for a new contract @Desa Griffiths.

I’m not sure any mobile company would be prepared to say why any given application failed, as that would presumably make it easier for riskier contracts to be taken out. 

Maybe quicker to try another retailer / service provider, instead of waiting another couple of months.

We would advise trying again after 90 days and once 3 on time payments have been made.

The credit check is based on multiple things, not just the credit score.
