Annoying text notifications

Every time I send an SMS to abroads (not IN abroads), I get a notification text from ID that it costs extra. Ok, I get it, it costs extra, enough already!

Is there any way to stop these? I tried customer service chat but they just said that they can’t do anything, sorry about that. I didn’t find anything in the account settings that looks like it should work.

I suspect you’re stuck with getting these iD alerts related to International charges, @Olli.

I suppose you could try another service provider, but the alerts might be a service provider requirement governed by OFCOM rules.

We are unable to stop these as we need to inform the customer that the service is chargeable.
