Are all ID phones unblocked?

I am going travelling for a month and therefore it would be useful if I could get a local SIM to use while I'm there. I read somewhere that all ID phones are unblocked, can anyone confirm this?

iD phones are not network locked @Raina.

When did you get your iD handset?

Okay @Raina, if you bought your iD handset within the last 3 years it’ll be unlocked to use on any network.

If you’ve got an iPhone you can check in Settings > General > About, and scroll down to “Network Provider Lock”.
