brought a new id mobile contract

Hello,

My boyfriend has recently purchased another id mobile phone and contract from U switch. He currently has an id mobile account with a sim only contract. We have tried to set up his new account but it is saying his details are incorrect (new phone number, last name and birth year). 
 

could this be because he hasn’t disconnected his old account? 
 

any help would be grateful:)

Welcome to the Community!

The old account shouldn’t affect creating a new account, however the new number would need to be set up using a different email address.

Could you please try registering using a different device or browser?
